A short video that (I hope) will clarify many things about this important notion.
I will host a live session every Tuesday, at 10am EST, in which I'll receive questions from our members here at the Bridge Academy. Discussing hands that gave you trouble (in the bidding or in the play) is always helpful for your growth as a bridge player. The zoom link to participate is at the bottom of this post, which will be pinned at the top of the page.
Some tips to make this work:
1. If the hand you want to discuss was played online, save the link. I will record a video about how to save a link from BBO. Other platforms are probably just as easy.
2. If your hand was from real life, try to have the printed hand record for reference (details such as vulnerability, dealer, and exact spot cards can make a very big difference).
3. If you don't have the hand record, write it down.
4. Theoretical issues are also welcome. For example, if you want to discuss a system for responding to the 2NT opening, or some such, bring it on.

Hello all,
sorry for the long radio silence, but COVID, that villain, has prevented me from recording videos. My throat is still a bit sore and recording videos taxes it. I hope I'll be good enough to start recording again tomorrow or Thursday, and I'll record 2 videos/day for some time to make up for the difference.
